Stacey W. Abbott has been a principal for 10 years and is currently completing her sixth year as principal of Garden Hills Elementary School in Atlanta, Georgia. Garden Hills is a certified International Baccalaureate: Primary Years Programme school that is also a dual language immersion school. During her tenure as principal, Stacey has worked in Title I schools with diverse populations, with a focus on language and literacy development. She has served as an adjunct professor for Kennesaw State University and Casenex Professional Development organization while teaching masters and undergraduate level classes in methods for language acquisition, linguistics and gifted instruction. While attending Texas A&M University, Stacey earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and her Master of Education, Curriculum, and Instruction with an emphasis in Bilingual Instruction. In addition, she earned her Educational Specialist in Educational Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. Stacey prides herself on being a collaborative, strategic leader who is continually growing and refining her own leadership repertoire.

Isabel Marsh, Ally

Isabel Marsh has been a teacher for 12 years at Garden Hills Elementary School in Atlanta, Georgia. She has taught as a Dual Language Immersion teacher for the past 6 years, and has experience in implementing summer school and kinder camp at an administrative level. Garden Hills is a certified high performing International Baccalaureate:Primary Years Program and dual language school. As a teacher, she has worked in a school where the population is diverse, focusing on equity for nonnative English speakers. Isabel received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University. In addition, she has earned her Educational Leadership Tier 1 certificate from West Georgia University.
