Shelley Boberschmidt has served as the proud Principal of College View Elementary, an ECE-5 school in Southwest Denver, since 2016. Shelley has taught and been a leader in Denver Public Schools for over 20 years in various roles including bilingual teacher, ESL resource teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. Shelley received her B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Colorado Denver, and her M.A. in Equity in Education and Cultural Diversity with a Linguistically Diverse Endorsement from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her Principal Licensure was conferred by the University of Denver. Shelley grounds her leadership in the core values of belonging and community; building authentic relationships with all stakeholders partnering to serve students and the school family.

Joey Denoncourt, Ally

Joey Denoncourt is celebrating his tenth year in Denver Public Schools as a Principal Resident at College View Elementary, where he has served in a leadership role since 2015. Joey received his B.A. in Spanish Linguistics from Arizona State University and his M.A. in Critical Pedagogy from the University of Colorado - Denver. He is an advanced level Cognitive Coach, a Teach For America Alum, and a graduate of both the Relay National Principal Academy Fellowship and the Arizona State University Leadership Institute. Joey is passionate about celebrating, supporting, and leveraging the unique strengths and talents of students, families, and staff members within the school community. He is enthusiastic about creating systems, structures, and experiences that allow the community to thrive.
