Johnny Bush is a native of Palm Beach County, Florida. He is one of seven children raised by a single mother. Johnny is a graduate of Concordia University, Nebraska. His career began in St Augustine at the Florida School for the Deaf as a third grade teacher. While teaching Deaf/Hard of Hearing Students, he obtained a master's degree from the University of North Florida in special education with a concentration on deaf education. In 1997, Johnny moved to Tampa to teach Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in Hillsborough County Public Schools. Soon after relocating, he earned certification in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida. Transitioning from the classroom in 2003, he has served in several roles as an administrator including Assistant Principal for Student Affairs, Assistant Principal for Administration and Assistant Principal for Curriculum. He was appointed Principal of T. R. Robinson High School in 2012, General Manager for Professional Standards in 2016 and Principal of H. B. Plant High School in 2017 where he currently serves. He is a leader who promotes safety first and seeks win-win outcomes. He wants his teachers to feel supported and proud of their chosen profession. Johnny loves the East Coast of Florida. He can often be found with his wife, two daughters and their dog, Halle Berry Bush hanging at the family's beach home in Flagler Beach, Florida.

John DeOrio earned his Bachelor of Science in Secondary Social Science Education from Florida State University in 2005. He currently works as a Teacher Talent Developer and Literacy Coach in Hillsborough County and English Teacher at H.B. Plant High School. For the past five years, he has served as the Instructional Leadership Team chair, focusing on student engagement, acceleration in learning, and building a positive culture within schools. Over the past 15 years John has served in multiple roles within the High School English and Reading departments and Adult Education Reading and ESL departments, as well as a curriculum designer and instructor for the New York Yankees player development program. Also, as a Master Trainer he has worked with teachers across the district in improving instructional practices, curriculum design, and classroom management.
