Barbara Freeman joined the Cahn Fellows Programs as the principal of P.S. 161 Pedro Albizu Campos and remained so until she was promoted to a Superintendent of the NYCDOE in 2012. Since then, she was promoted to the Executive Superintendent of Brooklyn in 2018.
