Ronald Mason is a Tampa native that lives with his wife and two sons. He holds a Masters in Educational Leadership and a Masters in Educational Counseling from the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!). Ronald has worked as an educator in Tampa, Florida, for the past 23 years with Hillsborough County Public Schools. His career in educational leadership began in 2008 when he was appointed Assistant Principal of Curriculum at Smith Middle School. Then, in 2015, he had the honor of becoming the principal of Ben Hill Middle School, where he continues the privilege of serving as an educational leader. Ronald believes that relationship building and connecting with others is the key to helping everyone reach their fullest potential. He focuses on continuous learning and growth, staying positive, and getting to know everyone at an individual level.
