Throughout her career with The New York City Department of Education, Dr. Keisha McCoy-Dailey’s vision remains “Student First. Always.” She served as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, and principal, while always demonstrating excellence in creating an organized and cohesive community that sets high expectations for all stakeholders. As an assistant principal, she worked successfully with teachers of both standardized and alternate assessment students to ensure effective instruction occurred in a safe and conducive environment. Dr. Dailey has vast experience in curriculum and professional development, serving as an administrator for her instructional inquiry team and vocational programs. As a Principal for the Maryland State Department of Education, she worked with teachers to build Career Technology Education programs, initiating a construction and culinary program, ultimately resulting in a 80% passing rate of the GED program. Students who passed their GED test had the opportunity to take online post-secondary courses with Frederick Community College. Now, as principal of P396K, The Sid Miller Academy, Dr. Dailey empowers students and staff members every day to take on initiatives and leadership roles, tapping into each one’s potential. She strongly believes in collaboration, coherence, and effective communication to foster a culture of respect and rapport.

Tiali Kyte is an educator that works at P396K, The Sid Miller Academy, in Brooklyn, New York. She became a teacher in 2015 where she taught special education in a 6:1:1 setting. She ensured that her students were successful and met their highest potential by getting various projects funded from Donors Choose. She ensured all students had a mode of communication, including securing various technology, including communication devices, to support their communication. She remained in the classroom for four years and then transitioned to a school-based coach in 2019. Her passion has always been to teach and make a positive impact on the lives of the students she supported. She enjoys learning and seeking out new strategies. She is a wife and a mother. Her desire is to help and support others in any way she can.
