Wendy Miller began her career more than twenty-five years ago in the Dallas Independent School District. During her career, Wendy has held various leadership roles including classroom teacher, instructional coach, and  assistant principal. For the past six  years, she has been the Principal of Harry C. Withers Elementary.  The school serves over four hundred students and offers a variety of enrichment programs including a Dual Language program.  As a school leader, Wendy believes that the most important contribution she can make to her students is to embrace a distributed leadership approach that will empower, educate and engage all learners.   Wendy's commitment to the school and her students has contributed to the academic growth and success of her students and school as a whole.  The school consistently ranks near the top of the state accountability system.  

Elizabeth "Libby" Medford, Ally

Libby Medford is the Instructional Coach at Withers Elementary in Dallas, TX and holds a Masters in Special Education with Diagnostician focus from Texas Tech University.  Her experience in education includes 8 years of teaching experience in grades 3-5 with prior trauma-focused work involving children in foster care, domestic violence shelters, and children’s hospitals.  Before working in Dallas ISD, she started her career in Magnolia, TX where she gained classroom experience in grades 3-5 on Title 1 campuses.  During this time she developed a passion for serving ESL populations.
